Wakeboard Lesson at Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos

Mykonos is a vibrant Greek island located in the Aegean Sea, forming part of the Cyclades group. The island is renowned for its scenic beauty, with stunning beaches, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. This activity takes place at Super Paradise Beach, one of Mykonos' most famous beaches situated on the southern coast of the island.

The private wakeboarding lesson will begin at the starting point at Super Paradise Beach. You'll meet the certified instructor and receive the wakeboarding equipment, which includes a life jacket, a wakeboard, bindings to secure your feet to the board, and a tow rope with a handle. No previous experience is needed, the instructor will go through a safety briefing and teach you all of the basics.

Wakeboarding is a water sport in which the rider, standing on a wakeboard (a shortboard with foot bindings), is towed behind a motorboat across its wake and especially up off the crest to perform aerial manoeuvres. A hallmark of wakeboarding is the attempted performance of midair tricks. Wakeboarding was developed from a combination of water skiing, snowboarding, and surfing techniques.

After going through some basic techniques, the instructor will tow you from the boat. Using the board, you'll feel the sensation of wakeboarding and try to perform your own tricks! Holding on to the rope, you can carve back and forth across the wake, and perform jumps, spins, and flips while admiring the breathtaking views of Mykonos' coastline. At the end of the lesson, you'll return to the starting point at Super Paradise Beach.
