This excursion departs from Reykjavík, the capital and largest city of Iceland, located on the country’s southwestern coast. First, you'll embark on an exciting quad bike tour near Reykjavík. Then, you'll discover the Golden Circle, one of Iceland's most popular routes home to three major natural attractions - Þingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall.

Upon arrival, you'll receive your open-air all-terrain vehicle and safety equipment (overalls, helmet and balaclava). No previous experience is needed, the quad bikes are fully automatic and easy to use.
Each quad will be shared between two participants, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch if you wish. After a quick safety briefing and driving instructions, your quad biking excursion in Iceland begins! Following the guide, you'll traverse ever-changing landscapes, testing the bikes on different terrains and climbing to the mountain top of Hafrafell, where you'll be treated to amazing panoramic views of Reykjavík. You'll also visit the fascinating Geysir Geothermal Area where you can see Strokkur, one of the most famous geysers in the world which erupts every 5-10 minutes, sending boiling water up to 20-30 metres (65-98 feet) into the air.
The Golden Circle tour continues to Gullfoss, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. It is created by the river Hvítá and tumbles into a 32-metre (105-foot)-deep crevice. You'll get up close to the waterfall and even feel the spray of glacier water on your face!
