Do you already have at least an Open Water diving level and are looking for your next adventure? Take a PADI dry suit diving course near Reykjavik and test your new skills by diving in the Silfra rift, just 1 hour's drive from the Icelandic capital!

If you want to be able to dive in cool waters all year round, you absolutely must complete a dry suit diving certification course. To start your dry suit diving adventure, there's nothing better than taking this diving course in Iceland! Silfra is one of the best diving sites in the world, with water temperatures between 2 and 4°C all year round. Diving at Silfra offers a unique experience: diving between the tectonic plates of Europe and America.

This dry-suit diving course near Reykjavik is aimed at experienced divers who want to discover Silfra while improving their skills. In 2 days, the course will give you all the elements you need to validate your Dry suit diver certification.

The first day of the PADI course begins with theory lessons. Unlike conventional wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air. During your drysuit course, your instructor will teach you how to control the air in your suit and your buoyancy. You'll practise being underwater and test all the new skills you've learnt in a swimming pool. Later, the open water dive will take place in a protected lake or ocean site in the Reykjavik region (Lake Kleifarvatn or Lake Thingvallavatn (Davidsgjá)). With 1 guide for a maximum of 3 people, you'll have plenty of support to help you progress safely.

Then, on the 2nd day of your PADI dry suit diving course in Reykjavik, you'll experience the moment you've been waiting for: a guided dive in the Silfra rift! In the rift, you can dive with your guide for around 30 minutes to discover this underwater site with unrivalled visibility! The maximum depth divers are allowed to go to in Silfra is 18 meters. For your comfort, you'll be wearing a quality Fourth Element wetsuit. Diving the Silfra Rift is a great way to test your new diving skills near Reykjavik. It's also an opportunity to discover the sublime Thingvellir National Park!

If you're a diving enthusiast, don't hesitate! Book this dry-suit diving course in Reykjavik with a dive in the Silfra rift and get a new PADI certificate in an internationally renowned spot!
