- Includes, if you wish, a thrilling ride down the rapids at the San Niccolò weir
- Small groups of up to 10 participants per raft
Course of events
Please allow around 2 hours for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the team at the Firenze Rafting van, in the park along the banks of the River Arno, opposite the San Niccolò Gate (paid car park nearby, no toilets)
- Equipment and a briefing on the course of the activity, safety instructions and raft navigation (approximately 15 minutes)
- Boarding the rafts
- Departure for a 1-hour and 45-minute rafting trip down the River Arno, right in the heart of Florence:
- optional trip down the rapids at the San Niccolò weir (15 minutes)
- panoramic rafting trip to the Ponte Vecchio, with a stop beneath its arches (30 minutes)
- panoramic rafting trip to the Ponte Santa Trinita (30 minutes)
- return journey to the starting point (30 minutes)
- Disembarkation and end of the activity, with the option to get changed in the Firenze Rafting tents
Activity requirements
Maximum weight per participant: 275 lbs / 125 kg
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

This activity is not accessible for people aged over 75 or people with a physical disability that prevents them from sitting in the raft.
