Snorkeling Excursion around Madeira

Learn to observe the underwater world from the surface with fun filled snorkelling excursions. You will be taught about the local history thanks to your experienced guide who will take you out to the most adequate places.

Learn the techniques of skin diving, which is snorkelling with a twist - you have to hold your breath (similar to freediving) so you can observe the peaceful aquatic life, up close and personal.

During this session you can practice both snorkelling and skin diving - there's no better way to explore the underwater world when you’re not able to scuba dive or if scuba diving just isn’t your thing. You'll learn how to become comfortable underwater while watching life below the surface for short visits. Whether you want to dive in a local freshwater lake or the big blue ocean - the techniques are all the same.

You'll spend the day around Madeira exploring the subaquatic world and its wonderful marine species. You will visit the Machico and Caniçal areas by boat, where you will see Cais da Junta, 3 Marias or Ponta das Rosas depending on the weather conditions.

You will complete two snorkelling sessions, each of which will last an hour.
