Practical information
Course of events
- Welcome at the Kawan Plongée center where you will first fill out a short questionnaire that will allow the instructor to get to know you better to make your first dive an incredible experience.
- Equipment (wetsuit, mask, fins, etc.) and boarding of the boat right in front of the center
- Drive to the dive site during which the instructor will present you the equipment, the course of the first dive and the first safety instructions, as well as what you will discover underwater
- Launching into the water with the instructor who will equip you with your tank, then slow and progressive immersion when you feel ready, for about twenty minutes and up to a maximum depth of 6 meters
- Re-boarding the boat and de-equipping before the return trip to the center during which you will be able to enjoy fresh fruit and drinks while debriefing your experience with the instructor
- Arrival at the center where you can enjoy the changing rooms and showers before leaving

Start diving with a first dive in Sainte-Luce in the south of Martinique!
With water temperatures ranging from 25 to 30°C, the south of Martinique is an ideal place for a first scuba diving experience. Numerous dive sites allow you to make your first dive along the coast, between Le Diamant and Sainte-Anne, while passing by Sainte-Luce. You can enjoy the sea bed rich in fauna and colored flora for a first dive at the top!
It is accompanied by a qualified and passionate diving instructor that you will realize your first dive in Sainte-Luce. Up to a maximum depth of 6 meters, you will discover at your own pace the incredible sensations provided by this activity, while being guided by the instructor who will keep his hand on your shoulder.
