Whale Safari on the island of Mayotte

• Meeting with the team at the Mamoudzou marina 10 minutes before the start of the excursion.
• Boarding of the boat with briefing on the day's programme and safety instructions on board.
• Sailing to the north or south of the lagoon, depending on the weather and humpback whale sightings the previous day.
• Breakfast stop on board.
• Search phase for humpback whales and dolphins. Once the animals have been found, there is a phase of approach, observation and explanation of the behaviour observed, followed by a launch only if all the conditions are met.
• Late morning aperitif (punch and local dishes) on an islet of white sand (depending on the tides) before lunch on a wild Mayotte beach.
• A snorkelling stop on a coral reef before or after lunch.
• Return to the lagoon for a final session in search of the lagoon's dolphins.
• Sailing back to Mamoudzou
• Disembarkation and end of activity

It is essential to listen to the instructions of skippers and crew members if the activity is to run smoothly.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity.

The activity is subject to weather conditions, Sea Blue Safari reserves the right to cancel in the event of bad weather for the safety of the client.

Although SEA BLUE SAFARI makes every effort to locate marine mammals, the "search effort" during cetacean safaris can sometimes be unsuccessful.

Please note that boarding/disembarkation is only possible on Grande Terre in Mamoudzou on the single "Ponton d'urgence". For participants coming from Petite Terre, take the 7 am barge (free in the PT/GT direction) which docks at around 7.20 am next to the "Ponton d'urgence" in Mamoudzou where passengers are expected for the activity.
