It is home to the majestic Alta Fjord, measuring approximately 35 kilometres (22 miles) in length and is lined by rugged cliffs. For those who are seeking a unique experience in the Norwegian Sea, this 4-hour fishing excursion in the Alta Fjord is for you!

Your fishing adventure begins at the meeting point at Fiskerihavna Harbour in Alta, where you and your group (a maximum of 5 people) will be greeted by your experienced guide and Captain. After a safety and itinerary briefing, you'll put on your thermal overalls (depending on the weather) and life jacket. Now, the fun starts! You'll board the ship and cruise to the region's best fishing locations. The Alta Fjord is known for its diverse marine life, such as cod, haddock, Atlantic halibut, coalfish, redfish, etc.

During your fishing excursion in the Alta Fjord, your Captain is happy to share fishing techniques and tips, as well as answer any questions you may have. (Please note that fishing equipment is not included in the tour price and is available at an additional fee.) You'll cast your line into the Norwegian Sea and if luck is on your side, you'll reel in your catch! The Icecube of Aurora crew is happy to fillet and clean your fish and package it for you to enjoy back at your accommodations in Alta.

In addition, you'll be treated to coffee, tea, and water onboard, along with delicious snacks. Don't forget your camera, you won't want to miss picture-perfect photos of the incredible Alta Fjord! At the end of the boat tour, you'll return to the original departure point in Fiskerihavna Harbour with lifelong memories of this fun-filled fishing excursion in the Alta Fjord.
