This guided hike to Romsdalseggen begins at the starting point in Åndalsnes, where you'll meet the experienced guide. The group is small and intimate, with a maximum of 6 participants, and you have the option of choosing a private tour with just your group and the guide. After a quick safety and itinerary briefing, you'll take a short bus ride to the starting point for the hike to Romsdalseggen.

Romsdalseggen is a spectacular ridge hike that offers some of the most incredible views in Norway. As you begin the exhilarating hike, the guide will share their local knowledge about the surroundings. The trail traverses the rugged spine of the Romsdalseggen Ridge, providing panoramic vistas of the Romsdal Valley, Åndalsnes Town, the Rauma River, and the surrounding peaks, including the famous Trollveggen. You'll travel up the mountain at 1215 metres (3986 feet) of elevation, on the border of two national parks, Reinheimen and Dovrefjell & Sunndalsfjella.

This hike is challenging but rewarding thanks to its phenomenal views. You'll hike to an almost 1000-metre (3281-foot) ascent, with breaks along the way. You'll also stop to enjoy a traditional Norwegian-packed lunch consisting of local products. When you reach the summit, you'll admire the unparalleled views of the surrounding fjords, valleys and mountains. Then, you'll hike back to the beginning, where the guided tour comes to an end.
