Course of events
You should plan to spend around 3.5 hours on this activity, with a 45 to 50-minute dive:
- Arrival at the Diving Centre in Ballstad 5 minutes before departure time
- Meet your experienced instructor
- 45 to 60-minute scuba diving equipment distribution, safety and itinerary briefing
- Refresher safety and scuba diving briefing
- 15 to 20-minute boat ride to the diving spot
- 45 to 50-minute exercises and dive
- 15 to 20-minute boat ride back to Ballstad
- Equipment return
- 30-minute debrief with your instructor over a hot drink and end of the activity
Activity requirements
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before your departure time as indicated in the itinerary.
Participants must have their PADI Openwater certificate or higher to participate in this excursion. Please indicate your most advanced diving qualification upon booking.
Participants require the drysuit qualification to dive with a drysuit. If they do not have the qualification, they will dive with one of Lofoten Diving's semi-dry suits (7 mm neopran suits).
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
