A 3-hour guided snowshoeing excursion into the Målselv Valley at night to see the Northern Lights.
- Immerse yourself in the heart of nature, under a starry Arctic sky devoid of all light pollution
- Includes a break around a campfire with a typical Norwegian snack: a grilled cheese sandwich
- Private experience, for you and your group of participants only (up to a maximum of 8 people)
Course of events
Please allow around 3 hours for the whole experience.
- If chosen, pick-up at one of the following points approximately 45 minutes before the start of the activity: Rundhaug Gjestegård, Bardufoss Hotel, Bardufosstun Hotel or Buktamoen bus stop
- Meeting with your guide at Basecamp NORD in Moen, at least 15 minutes before the start of the activity
- Briefing on the activity and presentation of the Northern Lights over a hot drink with the guide
- Equipment of snowshoes and, if necessary, a snowsuit
- Depart for a 3-hour guided snowshoeing tour in the Målselv Valley, stopping along the way to enjoy a local snack around a campfire
- Return to Basecamp Snowman at around 11 p.m., de-equipping and return transfer for participants who have chosen the pick-up
Activity requirements
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

Since the Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon, their presence is never guaranteed.
This activity is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
