Directions to the meeting point:

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the city centre, follow the signs towards the airport and walk/drive across the bridge. As soon as you have passed the bridge, turn right and continue towards the mountain until on the left side of the road you see the orange HQ with the Hi North logo.

There, you'll be greeted by your experienced instructors who will give a safety and itinerary briefing. Then, you'll set out on foot to the starting point at the Helgelandstrappa Sherpa Stairway. Upon your arrival, you'll receive your equipment (helmet, harness, and gloves) as well as an introduction to Via Ferrata and climbing techniques. Your instructor will double-check your harness and hook you into the secure wire that is attached to the Øyfjellet mountain face. Now, the fun starts! You'll climb the side of the mountain, taking in the incredible views along the way.
