Sogndal is a municipality located in Vestland County in Norway. The town of Sogndal is situated along the northern shore of the picturesque Sogndalfjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. The adventure begins at the starting point in Sogndal, where the experienced guide will welcome you on board the comfortable boat. After a quick safety and itinerary briefing, you’ll set off travelling along the beautiful Sogndalfjord, passing the unique Norwegian landscapes, with mountains, rivers and valleys.

Then, you’ll arrive at Fimreite, a historical site where the famous Battle of Fimreite took place in 1184. During the Viking Age, this brutal battle occurred between Sverre Sigurdsson and Magnus Erlingsson over the right to be King of Norway. At Fimreite, you’ll visit Haug Gard, a historic and charming farm. Located in the heart of Sogndal Valley, this family-run farm is one of Norway’s most idyllic places. The cider-producing farm grows summer fruits, including apples and pears.

At Haug Gard, you’ll have some time to explore a 500-metre (1640-foot) private shallow beach and a small playground with a sandbox for children. You can visit the farm and taste some of the delicious cider. Then, you’ll set off on a scenic bike ride. After receiving the electric bike and helmet, you’ll set off cycling from Fimreite back towards Sogndal. Along the way, admire the breathtaking view of the sparkling waters of the Sogndalfjord, the towering backdrop of mountains, and the lush greenery. At the end of the tour, you’ll arrive back at the starting point in Sogndal.
