The number of jumps, abseils, and waterfalls can vary depending on water levels and group dynamics, making each descent a unique experience.

Before the adventure begins, you’ll meet your guide at the designated point or be picked up directly from your accommodation in Porto or Aveiro. After a short 20-minute drive to the canyon, you’ll stop at a local coffee shop (with toilets available) before receiving a full safety briefing and getting your gear. The canyoning activity itself lasts between 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the group size and weather conditions, with the total experience taking around 4 hours.

During the descent, you’ll spend plenty of time in the water, crossing small lagoons and navigating through pools, with short swims of no more than 10 meters. The water temperature typically ranges between 10 and 20°C, depending on the season. Once the adventure is complete, you’ll return to the meeting point, where you can either drive back in your own car or take the provided transfer back to your accommodation.
