Practical information

A 3-day introductory surf camp pack featuring 2 hours of daily surf lessons and 3 nights of accommodation near Matosinhos Beach in Porto.

Strict 1:8 coach-to-student ratio ensuring personalized safety and rapid technical progression.
Includes 3 nights of local accommodation within easy walking distance of the surf center.
Round-trip Oporto airport transfers and dedicated beach transport included in the price.

Course of events

Please allow 3 days on site for the entire experience.

Arrival at Oporto Airport and meet up with the driver for your included transfer
Check-in at the local accommodation partner, located 6 to 8 minutes walk from the surf center
Day 1: Head to the surf center for registration, equipment fitting, and initial safety briefing
Day 1: Experience your first 2-hour surf lesson focused on longboard basics and paddling
Day 2: Morning check of wave conditions and group departure for a 2-hour structured surf session
Day 2: Free afternoon to explore Porto or use the school's equipment outside lesson hours
Day 3: Final 2-hour coaching session focusing on wave selection and standing up independently
Day 3: Return your premium Billabong wetsuit and surfboard to the storage facility
Check-out from the accommodation and return transfer back to Oporto Airport

An intensive 6-day surf immersion featuring 5 days of coaching, and 5 nights of local accommodation in Porto.

Dynamic training program with video and photo coaching sessions to quickly analyze and improve technique.
Structured framework covering everything from basic longboard pop-ups to advanced weather and material theory.

Course of events

Please allow 6 days on site for the entire experience.

Arrival at Oporto Airport and transfer to your designated local accommodation partner
Check-in and free time to settle into the hostel or guest house near Matosinhos Beach
Day 1: Head to the surf base for equipment allocation (Billabong wetsuit and softboard)
Day 1: First 2-hour surf lesson covering ocean safety, basic positioning, and stand-up mechanics
Days 2-4: Daily 2-hour surf lessons tailored around the best tide cycles for rapid progression
Days 2-4: Dedicated video and photo review sessions with coaches to visually analyze your posture
Day 5: Final 2-hour coaching block focusing on autonomy, riding unbroken green waves, and turning
Day 5: Farewell social gathering or barbecue at the accommodation base
Day 6: Pack up, return all borrowed school equipment, and complete check-out procedures

The structured training program guarantees 2 hours of surfing lessons per day, specifically tailored to help you build confidence on a longboard.
