Discover Scuba Diving at L'Étang-Salé in Réunion's nature reserve

Enjoy your first diving experience at L'Étang-Salé, a peaceful, unspoilt spot in the heart of Réunion's west coast. Ideal for beginners, this 2.5 hour session combines an introduction in the pool and diving in the sea, for a complete and safe experience supervised by a qualified instructor.

You will be welcomed at the diving centre, nestled in a tropical garden just a stone's throw from the beach. After putting on your equipment (wetsuit, mask, fins), you'll get off to a gentle start with a few minutes in the pool to learn how to breathe underwater and familiarise yourself with the equipment. Then, after a short briefing and a refreshing break, you'll head off for a 40-60 minute dive at L'Étang-Salé, on the edge of Réunion's marine reserve.

Accompanied at all times by your instructor, you will discover the unique sensations of weightlessness, tropical fish, turtles, rays and the colourful relief of the ocean. This diving experience in Réunion Island is open to divers aged 10 and over, with no previous experience required, and takes place in a small group of no more than 3 participants per instructor, in a safe and friendly environment.

Back at the centre, you'll enjoy a hot shower and a drink, before consulting booklets to identify the species you come across. Afterwards, you'll leave with your very first diving diploma and a new fascination for the underwater world!
