Medium difficulty level, for this activity you need to be a regular walker, able to walk for 4/5 hours (the gradients are slight but walking off paths and in peat bogs increases the effort).

Miquelon Island is part of the Saint-Pierre and Miquelon archipelago, composed of three islands with very diverse scenery and landscapes, between peat bogs, rocky hills, beaches, woods, meadows and cliffs...
The 242 km² of this archipelago are a real playground for hikers who wish to observe an exceptional diversity of fauna and flora: seals, deer, birds of prey, geese, warblers, carnivorous plants, orchids, and many other species.
Your guide will adapt the expedition according to your wishes, your level and the weather conditions! Going to the morne de la Grande montagne, the highest peak of the archipelago or a loop in the interior of the island are among the possibilities.

He grew up in the middle of the peat bogs and lagoons of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon. With a scientific and naturalist background, Gilles spent many years studying the unique fauna and flora of this little-known archipelago.
He also specializes in expeditions to polar and sub-polar regions (Scandinavia, Newfoundland...).
He will therefore know how to unveil the secrets of the islands of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon better than anyone else.
