About the activity

Taormina is a charming coastal town on the eastern side of Sicily. Located only 50 minutes away from Catania, Taormina is renowned for its rich history, ancient ruins and stunning waters. With a professional instructor, you'll dive into the Mediterranean Sea and discover Sicily's vibrant marine life!

Your instructor will welcome you to the diving centre and brief you about the activity. They'll show you how to use the equipment and the gestures you'll need to communicate underwater. Then, all geared up you'll dive in directly from Mazzarò Bay, in Taormina and breathe underwater for the first time! Discover what's beneath the Mediterranean Sea's surface and dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres! Your instructor will accompany you the whole time, spending 30 minutes underwater with you.
