Course of events
- Meet your instructor in Mozirje, near the edge of the Savinja Valley. You'll be welcomed on-site and introduced to the day’s plan and safety protocols.
- Get fitted with full paragliding gear including harness, helmet, glider, and radio. Your certified instructor will explain the equipment and answer your questions.
- Start with ground handling exercises on a gentle grassy slope. Learn how to inflate the glider, control it on the ground, and practise basic take-off posture. (Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours)
- Move on to your first low-altitude solo flights, guided in real-time by radio. These short flights (30 seconds to 2 minutes) are designed to build control, confidence, and flight feeling. (Flight session: 3 to 4 hours total)
- Progress through multiple flights, gaining experience with launching, steering, and landing, always with close supervision.
- Wrap up with a debriefing and feedback session, where your instructor shares insights on your progress and offers advice on continuing with a full paragliding course. (Duration: approx. 30 minutes)
- End of activity around 15:00–16:00, depending on group size and weather conditions.

The minimum/maximum weight for this activity are: 45 - 110 kg.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
Previous experience is not required to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.

This course is a standalone activity, but can be continued into a full beginner training.
All instructors are certified under the Slovenian Civil Aviation Authority.
All flights are supervised by radio by licensed instructors.
