You will start the course with a brief introduction to scuba diving, including a discussion of the basic principles of diving and the equipment that is used. You will then have the opportunity to practice basic diving skills in the safety and comfort of shallow water. Once you have mastered the basic skills, you will have the opportunity to participate in a real dive in open water and explore the reef as deep as 12 metres.
The main part of this diving course takes place at the Fiesa Reef, which is full of marine life. There are different species of fish, you can often see lobsters walking around the sea bed, conger eels and sea horses. The sea also harbours sunken cars, motorcycles and other objects, and small wrecks that are waiting to be explored.
