Surfing Lesson at Muizenberg, Cape Town

Please allow about 3 hours for the whole experience.

• Meeting with the instructor at Starbucks Muizenberg, at least 15 minutes before the start of the activity (free and paid parking available nearby)
• Short walk to the surf base on Muizenberg Beach (changing rooms, toilets and lockers available)
• Distribution of surfing equipment (wetsuits and boards)
• Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
• Start of the surfing lesson for approximately 1.5 hours (warm-up, then time in the water for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes)
• Back on the beach, equipment is stored away and cleaned by the team, and participants can take a hot shower at the surf base
• Debriefing of the activity over coffee with a view of False Bay (approx. 30 minutes) to round off the activity

Maximum weight: 264 lbs / 120 kg

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult on the beach.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.

A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

You will be asked to complete this indemnity form before the start of the activity.

This activity is not accessible to people with mental/cognitive/psychic disabilities.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
