Take to the heights in the Sierra de Orihuela with the via ferrata Callosa de Segura and its 2 routes for beginners and adventurers!
Halfway between Murcia and Alicante, the via ferrata Callosa de Segura is one of the most recent via ferrata routes in the province of Alicante. It is located in the Sierra de Orihuela, at an altitude of up to 250 metres at its highest point, and offers superb views all the way to the Mediterranean coast. So there is no shortage of breathtaking views during the experience, no matter which of the 2 routes you decide to tackle! The Callosa de Segura via ferrata offers 2 different courses so that as many people as possible can have fun from its heights:
- the K3 course - this is an easy route that can be completed in around 2 hours, suitable for beginners and children aged 8 and over, with fun obstacles such as Tibetan, suspension and chain bridges, in addition to the steel rungs and cables typical of via ferratas;
- the K3 + K5 course - this route, open to those aged 18 and over, is reserved for the more athletic: it combines the K3 route with another more difficult route, with vertical climbing passages between rungs and rough stone, as well as one of the longest suspension bridges in Spain, a 100-metre long Tibetan bridge!
The greatest advantage of this experience on the Callosa de Segura via ferrata is the presence of professional instructors at your side, not only looking after your safety but also advising you if you need help at any point along the way. They will also take photos of you throughout the adventure, so you will leave with unforgettable memories of this incredible via ferrata in Alicante!
Whether you are looking for a good time out with the family or a sporting adventure near Murcia and Alicante, don't miss out on the Callosa de Segura via ferrata in the Sierra de Orihuela: you will enjoy a thrilling half-day in a magnificent setting overlooking the Costa Blanca!
