Practical information
Learn all you need to know to be an independent paraglider. Come to Castejon de Sos and fly above the Pyrenees in this 5 days paragliding course!
If you want to experience the full sensation that paragliding provides, the best way to do so is to enroll in a paragliding course! This course will take you through three stages.
The first section of the course will teach you how to inflate and control the canopy. The first phase will be held on an open, flat field. This first part will be completed once you've managed to keep it completely vertical and control it at your leisure.
The second part of the course will take you to a hill with a maximum elevation of 30 meters, where you will practice taking off. You'll be flying downhill in a straight line in no time! The goal of this section of the course is to be able to fly the paraglider correctly and smoothly.
The final phase will teach you how to control the paraglider at high altitudes, taking off from as high as 800 meters! During each attempt in this third section, one instructor will be at the landing zone and another at the takeoff zone. You'll also be able to communicate with them via radio, allowing them to guide you!
