A breathtaking 1-hour hot air balloon flight near Barcelona featuring panoramic views of Montserrat.
- Fly up to 1,300m for a unique perspective of the Bages and Anoia regions.
- Includes a traditional cava toast, HD photos, and a flight certificate.
- Complete experience with 4x4 return transport to the takeoff site.
Course of events
Please allow approximately 3 hours for this activity, inlcuding 1-hour flight.
- Arrival at the takeoff site (location confirmed 24-48h before flight based on wind).
- Participation in the balloon inflation process and safety briefing.
- Approximately 1-hour flight over the Montserrat surroundings and rural landscapes.
- Smooth landing in the countryside followed by the tradition of packing the balloon.
- Celebration including a cava toast and snacks (dried fruits, cheese chips, breadsticks with hummus).
- Distribution of flight certificates.
- Return to the initial takeoff point in a 4x4 vehicle.

The adventure begins in the early morning, when the atmosphere is most stable and the light is at its most magical. As you drift with the wind, you will soar over the Bages and Anoia regions. You might glide over the historic bridges of Manresa along the Llobregat River or admire the urban layout of Igualada surrounded by rural tapestries like the Conca de Òdena and the Calaf plateau.
Depending on weather conditions, the flight will depart from a location close to the mountain, you will float between 1,000 and 1,300 meters above sea level, and you will discover the singular silhouette of Montserrat, a symbol of Catalonia that reveals its true majesty only from the sky.
Throughout the flight, professional pilots ensure your safety while pointing out hidden farmhouses and natural landmarks. After approximately one hour in the air, the ground crew will meet you at the landing site for a traditional celebration of a toast with a savoury snack.
