Right next to the Bay of Biscay, Gijon is one of the biggest cities of Asturias and one of our favourite spots for a flight. Just like Cantabria, Asturias is a region filled with mountains that overlook the beautiful Bay of Biscay.

Thanks to this unique combination, wind currents coming from the ocean rise up on the beaches as they crash into the cliffs, creating amazing thermal currents that paragliders love. Thanks to the weather conditions, especially the wind currents, our professional tandem pilots are able to stay in the air longer and you can feast on the stunning landscapes of Gijón.

Taking off from the La Providencia/ La Colina area of Gijon, just 5 min. from the city, you'll experience the amazing feelings paragliding has to offer. As you soar the skies, you will witness the amazing cliffs of Asturias, the city of Gijon, and the beautiful Bay of Biscay.

If your need for adrenaline is bigger, a longer flight is available which will last 40 min, if the wind allows it!
