Course of events
- Meet your certified canyoning guide at the designated point near Júzcar (Serranía de Ronda).
- Get equipped with wetsuit, helmet, harness, and receive a briefing on safety and basic canyoning techniques.
- Begin the descent through the Sima del Diablo canyon, following the Zúa River in the heart of the Genal Valley.
- Navigate through natural slides, water pools, and several rappels, including the impressive 12-meter “Salto del Diablo”.
- Return to the starting point and change into dry clothes.
Activity requirements
All participants must be able to swim. Minors must have authorization from their parents.
Arrive to the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the activity starts.

Transport from Costa del Sol 20€ per person. Once the booking is done you can arrange the pick up and pay it separately.

Descend the most exciting canyon in Southern Spain, located in the Serrania de Ronda, the Sima del Diablo canyon runs along the Zúa river, in the heart of the Genal valley. You will admire incredible landscapes and mountains while descending and ascending in the canyon of the Sima del Diablo.
This canyoning activity is ideal for beginners, no previous experience is necessary and the physical and technical difficulty is moderate. During the tour we will find different natural slides and several rappels with waterfalls, including the famous "Salto del Diablo" of about 12 meters high.

Great activity the abseiling was really fun and the environment is beautiful. Only downside is that the rocks were a little slippery in places, make sure you have good grippy shoes.
