Put your body to the test by descending this Spanish canyon full of obstacles such as abseils, jumps and slides, and experience a day of pure adventure and adrenaline.

This canyoning activity in the Sierra de Guara is one of the international references for this sport. In the Barranco del Formiga, accompanied by an expert instructor who will guide you and equip you with everything you need for your safety, you will be able to see wonderful landscapes such as the Cueva de las Polvorosas, as well as narrow rocky passages and different beautiful water bodies.

Starting with a hike from the meeting point, you will face different challenges such as handrails, jumps, slides, blocks, ledges, abseils and siphons. The canyoning tour in this Barranco del Formiga will last approximately 3 to 4 hours and there will be different optional obstacles for those who want to experience a great day of adrenaline and sport, but don't want to risk the most challenging.

Once you are set up with your harness, helmet, wetsuit and other safety equipment, the fun begins. The section is open to people from the age of 6, so the level of difficulty is not very high, but it is important to bear in mind that it is a very sporty and intense activity, so make sure that your whole group is willing to go all the way.

Remember to bring snacks and water, as there will be two breaks where you can recover your energy, eat and relax a bit.

Once you have passed all the tests of the Barranco del Formiga, you will also have the opportunity to swim in the pool that you will reach at the end of the route, so don't forget your swimming costume, and after a short walk, you will return to the meeting point to finish your day of canyoning in the Sierra de Guara.
