About the activity

Sitting on the coast of Catalonia, Tarragona is flanked by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Muntanyes da Prades. Through the combination of wind and water currents coming from the ocean, which rise up on the beaches as they crash into the cliffs, this place is the source of some amazing thermal currents that paragliders love!

The professional tandem paragliding pilots in Tarragona will use these weather conditions to stay in the air for as long as possible. You will fly with 950 meters of difference in level with the sea, and the great and beautiful Salou and Reus in the background.

You will be taking off from La Mussara National Park, 30 min away from Tarragona's downtown, where you'll be able to experience the amazing feelings paragliding has to offer. As you soar through the skies, you'll have a privileged view over the green mountains and golden sand beaches of Catalonia.

You can take either a 20 or 40-minute tandem paragliding flight over Tarragona, and the longer you stay up there, the more you'll be able to see. However, know that paragliding flights are completely dependent on weather conditions, which is why you won't receive a time for your flight only 24 hours before it takes place, and why it might be rescheduled if the conditions are not ideal.

Me sorprendió muy gratamente la experiencia del parapente. Es una actividad muy relajada que te brinda la oportunidad de disfrutar de las vistas y conocer la zona desde otra perspectiva.

Mi hija y yo, lo pasamos muy bien.Una sensación de estabilidad y seguridad q permite disfrutar del paisaje ,la paz que transmite volar en parapente.Alucinada por q pensé q sentiria miedo y para nada.

La actividad en sí estuvo bien, fue un regalo para mi hija y a ella le gustó mucho. Hubo cosas que no nos gustaron nada: 1° el sitio de encuentro (punto de aterrizaje) es un caos para encontrarlo, además el camino es muy estrecho y de piedra. 2° Desde el punto de encuentro coger tú coche y llevar al instructor y parapente incluido hasta otro lugar qu es donde se salta, ellos saltan (tú puedes grabarlo) y entonces tienes que bajar con el coche hasta el punto de aterrizaje. 3° Cuando llegamos con el coche no nos gustó nada que ya estuvieran en tierra (nos perdimos cuando aterrizaron), nos dió la sensación de que el vuelo fue muy corto y por eso no nos dió tiempo..... Lo bueno es que el instructor es muy amable y te lo explica todo lo que van hacer y el porque tendría que cancelar el vuelo, hasta que no se sube al punto donde se salta no se sabe si se podrá saltar por motivos atmosférico.
