About the activity

Sitting on the coast of Catalonia, Tarragona is flanked by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Muntanyes da Prades. Through the combination of wind and water currents coming from the ocean, which rise up on the beaches as they crash into the cliffs, this place is the source of some amazing thermal currents that paragliders love!

The professional tandem paragliding pilots in Tarragona will use these weather conditions to stay in the air for as long as possible. You will fly with 950 meters of difference in level with the sea, and the great and beautiful Salou and Reus in the background.

You will be taking off from La Mussara National Park, 30 min away from Tarragona's downtown, where you'll be able to experience the amazing feelings paragliding has to offer. As you soar through the skies, you'll have a privileged view over the green mountains and golden sand beaches of Catalonia.

You can take either a 20 or 40-minute tandem paragliding flight over Tarragona, and the longer you stay up there, the more you'll be able to see. However, know that paragliding flights are completely dependent on weather conditions, which is why you won't receive a time for your flight only 24 hours before it takes place, and why it might be rescheduled if the conditions are not ideal.
