For your convenience, participants can choose between pick-up at listed accommodations in Kiruna or meeting onsite (please specify when booking). Upon arrival at the Máttarháhkka Northern Lights Lodge, you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) will be welcomed with a delicious BBQ dinner around a fire in a tipi. After your relaxing meal, the Northern Lights hunt from Kiruna begins! You'll set out into the wilderness of Swedish Lapland via minibus in search of the best spots to take in the Northern Lights. Hot spots include Mattarahkka, Duortnosjávri, Abisko, Kaisepakte, etc. Far away from the city lights, you'll marvel at the dancing colours of the Aurora Borealis. With a camera and tripod included in the tour, your guide is happy to answer any questions related to nighttime photography. (Please don't forget your SD card for the camera.) As you capture amazing shots of the Arctic sky, you will also make memories that will last a lifetime on this unique excursion.
