Practical information
A day dedicated to discovering rock climbing at the Pen-Hir cliffs: you will learn about rock climbing equipment, the technical basics of the sport and safety rules, etc. The aim is to help you quickly acquire the skills you need to get started with confidence!
Please allow around 8 hours for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the instructor in the car park at Pointe de Pen-Hir
- 10-minute approach walk to the cliffs
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Distribution of materials and equipment, with explanations
- Rock climbing for around 7 hours, with a picnic break for lunch
- Debriefing at the end of the session and storage of equipment
- 10-minute walk back to the car park and end of the activity
- Maximum weight: 264 lbs / 120 kg
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or disabled people.
If necessary, the instructor can lend you climbing shoes: please ask him directly for your shoe size once your booking has been confirmed.
For a supplement of €50 to be paid on the spot, the instructor can come and collect you from Quimper or Lorient train station: if you are interested, please ask him directly once your booking request has been confirmed.
