Becoming a scuba diver is not impossible, it will only require good swimming skills, dedication and some time! The PADI Open Water Diver course usually takes three or four days in which you'll go through a theoretic and a practical training.

In the classroom, you’ll go through all the theoretical knowledge you need to have in order to stay safe in the water. At the end of these sessions, you’ll have a test to confirm that you understand all the key concepts and ideas. On the practical side, you'll perform a series of confined water dives.

During these dives, you'll put your scuba diving skill to the test and learn how to reach underwater. It is in this environment that you will learn everything from gearing up to removing water from the mask without having to rise to the surface, just to mention a few.
