Discover one of the treasures of the Terceira Natural Park on a boat trip to Ilhéu das Cabras in the Azores!
Terceira Island is the third largest island in the Azores, after Santa Maria and São Miguel. Although less known, it is an island not to be missed if you are travelling in the Azores, as Terceira Island is home to the Serra do Cume, the largest crater in the Azores; the Terceira Natural Park, with incredible landscapes such as Ilhéu das Cabras and its beautiful capital, Angra do Heroísmo, is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Ilhéu das Cabras or Ilhéu das Cabras is two islets in the south of Terceira that can only be reached by boat. This uninhabited islet is a nesting area for several species of seabirds such as Canarian shearwaters, common terns and roseate terns. The Water4Fun crew will be waiting for you at the harbour of Angra do Heroísmo for an hour and a half boat trip to Ilhéu das Cabras. During this boat trip for up to 11 people you will circle the two islands, observe the volcanic structure of the islets and enjoy beautiful views of Terceira Island while learning about the history of the Ilhéu das Cabras. You can also make a short stop for a swim in the sea if you wish!
Live a beautiful experience in Terceira Island, in the Azores, that combines sea and nature with this boat trip to Cabras Islet!
