Water 4 Fun is a nautical company founded in 2015 at Marina de Angra do Heroísmo on Terceira Island, representing 11 years of activity in the Azores archipelago. Operating year-round, the team offers marine wildlife expeditions including whale watching, dolphin swimming, boat tours, and snorkeling excursions along the coast. You navigate aboard a large boat equipped with an onboard bathroom, snorkeling gear, a hydrophone to listen to underwater vocalizations, life jackets, and waterproof jackets. Supported by coastal spotters located at Mount Brazil, every excursion is accompanied by a professional marine biologist guide, maintaining a 90% sighting rate for species like sperm whales, bottlenose dolphins, and migrating blue whales. Safety and environmental preservation remain central priorities: staff perform continuous pre-departure weather checks and strictly adhere to official government rules regulating boat numbers, approach directions, and time spent shadowing marine life.
