Guided Sea Kayaking Excursion on the St.Lawrence River from Saint-Siméon

Please allow up to 6.5 hours for the entire experience.

• Meeting with the guide at the departure point for the excursion at the Saint-Siméon rest stop near the Chalets-Motel Bo-Fleuve, 15 minutes before the start of the activity (toilets and free parking on site)
• Signature of the risk acceptance forms
• Equipment with wetsuits, neoprene booties, etc.
• Safety briefing (approximately 15-20 minutes)
• Departure for a guided sea kayaking excursion on the St. Lawrence River lasting between 4 to 6 hours
• Return to the departure beach, removal of equipment and end of the activity

All participants must be in good physical condition and have more than 1 previous experience in sea kayaking to take part in this activity, but do not need to know how to swim. In some rare cases, if the guide determines that a participant is not physically fit enough (difficulty walking to the beach, equipment not in the client's size, etc.), they may refuse the participant for safety reasons.

Pregnant women are only accepted if they are in their second trimester (4-5-6 months).

Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.

A minimum of 4 participants is required to run this activity. If this number is not reached, Bosco Charlevoix will offer you a shorter version of the excursion or suggest rescheduling to another date.

⚠️ The meeting time for this activity is given as an indication and depends on the weather and/or the itinerary: please contact the instructor once your reservation has been confirmed.

In case of strong winds or a storm, you can contact Bosco Charlevoix at least 2 hours before your activity to inform you if it will take place. If your guide decides to cancel, he will try to contact you in advance: it is the guide's decision whether or not the activity will take place, as he knows the terrain and his judgement will be the safest and most adapted to the situation.

Please note that participants will always be paired up in kayaks: if you book for an odd number of participants, the last person will be paired with either the guide or another participant.

Wild animals are unpredictable; we cannot guarantee that you will see them during this activity.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
