Your evening begins at the kennel, where you’ll meet the pack and be welcomed by a passionate guide. They’ll explain the basics of preparing and driving your sled team before equipping you with a headlamp. Once ready, you’ll follow the guide on a magical ride through forest trails. You’ll set off at sunset or after nightfall, gradually immersing yourself in the nighttime atmosphere, paced by the breath and energy of the dogs.

The dog sled ride lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours and takes you through Canadian plains and forests. With no light pollution, you’ll enjoy a clear sky ideal for observing stars and the moon, creating an intimate and almost enchanting atmosphere. Outings are always in small groups of five to six sleds, or about twelve participants maximum, divided into subgroups for a more personal experience. Each team consists of four to six dogs capable of reaching an average speed of 10 to 15 km/h. A guide leads the way with their team and supervises one or two sleds behind, while another guide on a snowmobile brings up the rear to ensure group safety and provide assistance if needed.

Supervision is provided by experienced head guides, each with at least four years of dog sledding experience. Some have over ten years of practice, and the entire team is certified in first aid. All guides also hold the official AEQ “Guide d’attelage canin” certification, ensuring recognized professionalism and expertise.
