Get off the beaten track with this adventurous gorge hike, descending the West coast of Crete starting in Kambos Gorge near of Kissamos.

Program
Starting in a hill village, we weave through olive and plane trees, admiring the stunning views before stopping for a swim at Platanakia Beach. The hike finishes with a rocky scramble over the hill to the neighbouring coastal village, where we can refresh our spirits with a cold drink.
Our meeting point is in Kissamos, and we have an approx 30min car journey to the start of the walk. The path is accessible to intermediate walkers. The walking time is about 3 hours, mostly on a rocky path, some of the terrain is more challenging.

Once we reach the end point, our transport will be waiting to take us back to Kissamos.
