How to Get to Kissamos

Kissamos is about 40 km west of Chania, Crete’s second-largest city. The most convenient route is by car, following the main road (VOAK/E65) from Chania Airport or the city centre, a drive of just under an hour.

Buses also connect Chania to Kissamos several times a day, with extra services in summer.

If you’re arriving from the Peloponnese, there are ferries from Kythira or Gythio to Kissamos port — one of the few places in Crete directly linked to the mainland by sea.
