A parasailing flight in Cavtat, lasting around 10 minutes.
- Panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dalmatian coast, as far as Dubrovnik, in fine weather, as you fly up to a height of 80 or even 100 metres, depending on the weather conditions (30 metres maximum for the youngest ones)
- Depending on your preference, you can stay completely dry during the flight or dip your feet in the water
- You can fly alone, as a duo or 3 at a time under the same parachute
⚠️ We highly encourage guests to book their parasailing flight at the beginning of their trip in case of unpredictable weather. We recommend booking 2–3 days in advance for weekends and 5–7 days in advance for large groups.
Course of events
Please allow up to 1 hour for the whole experience.
- Meeting with the team at the Gabriel Watersports Cavtat base at least 10 minutes before the start of the activity (paying car park of €2~€3/hour, can be reached by bus on line 10 - toilets available at the bus stop)
- Embarkation on board the boat with the possibility of taking your personal belongings with you, unless they are too bulky (secure storage space available at the base)
- Fitting of equipment (harness and life jacket) with briefing on the activity and safety instructions (approx. 5 minutes)
- Departure by boat to the activity zone (5 to 10 minutes sailing time)
- Take off from the boat's rear platform
- Start of your 10-minute parasailing flight in Cavtat: views of Cavtat, the islands of Supetar, Bobara and Mrkan, as well as the Konavle coast and, if the weather is clear, as far as Dubrovnik and its old town
- Soft landing on the boat's rear platform
- Boat tour while the other participants on board take their turn at flying
- Navigation back to base (5 to 10 minutes)
- Return of equipment, debriefing of the activity and disembarkation to finish the activity
Activity requirements
Identity card or passport required to take part in the activity.
- Minimum weight under the parachute: 132 lbs / 60 kg
- Maximum weight under the parachute: 485 lbs / 220 kg (depending on weather conditions)
All minors must be accompanied by an adult: the minimum age to fly alone is 16, with an accompanying adult remaining on board the boat.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the activity.
Special terms
This activity is not accessible to pregnant or disabled people.
Depending on the number of participants, please book:
- x1 "1 person" if you are flying alone,
- x1 "2 persons" if you are 2 people flying at the same time,
- x1 "3 persons" if you are 3 people flying at the same time.
For accompanying people who do not wish to fly: if there is enough space onboard on the day of the activity, an observer seat costs €30.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity. Exceptions may be made on an individual basis if there are no other clients on board and it is clear that the pet will be comfortable and safe during the ride.
