Your adventure begins at one of the listed locations in Rovaniemi (please specify when booking), where you'll be greeted by your professional photographer guide. You and your group (a maximum of 8 people) will depart for the scenic 35-minute drive to the reindeer farm. Upon your arrival, you'll put on your winter gear (warm clothing and boots) and will be greeted by your hosts, a reindeer herding family who have been practising this livelihood at their traditional farm for over 5 generations.

To start, you'll be taken on a tour of the farm and will have the opportunity to meet and feed the adorable reindeer. Then, after a safety briefing, you'll head out into the snow-covered landscapes of Finnish Lapland on a 2 km (1 mile) reindeer sled ride. Your professional photography guide will take 10-15 photos of you enjoying the moment, a great souvenir! After the ride, you'll be treated to coffee, hot chocolate, or tea and delicious freshly made crepes in a traditional Lappish Kota building. Your hosts will share fascinating facts and stories about reindeer herding and its importance in the cultural fabric of Lapland. A wonderful way to end this unique tour! Plutôt mitigé. Tous les traîneaux sont accrochés les uns aux autres, avec un renne entre chaque, qui n'a que très peu de corde pour être à l'aise. À vrai dire, ils ne sont pas à l'aise et se font tirer dessus par la corde sans forcément ralentir le pas, tellement elle est courte. Plusieurs traineaux sont raccordés les uns aux autres avec un fermier qui tient le premier renne, avec leur tenue contre le froid avec du orange fluo dessus, donc vraiment complexe d'avoir de jolies photos au global ! Visite un peu express, quelques explications sans parler fort, qu'on entende ou non n'était pas la priorité. Les photos fournies à l'issue sont de bonne qualité, mais un peu aléatoires. N'ayant pas eu d'informations sur comment récupérer ces photos, nous avons demandé avant qu'on nous redépose après l'activité et nous a demandé de prendre en photo un screenshot sur une feuille, sans explication. La plupart des rennes n'ont plus qu'un bois. On sent qu'on est dans une activité non authentique et touristique. Le bien être animal n'est vraiment pas la priorité, tout comme la satisfaction des touristes d'ailleurs.
