About the activity

The Chassezac canyon is the perfect place to enjoy a sporting canyoning experience between the Ardèche and Lozère departments, in a spectacular natural setting. Situated between these two departments, in the south of the Massif Central, the canyon offers a wide variety of obstacles in impressive granite gorges. To discover the Chassezac canyon with Born2aventures' experienced instructors, you have 2 options.

  • Half-day trip to the La Garde du Chassezac canyon (from age 12): 3 hours of technical and demanding descent with waterfalls, abseils and slides, walking, swimming and jumping. For this half-day outing, your instructor only offers one rotation out of respect for the environment. It's also good for your experience: the trip takes place at a different time from the competition, so you can avoid the busiest times.
  • Day trip to the Haut Chassezac canyon (from age 14): 6 hours of thrills and pure adrenalin with a series of exciting obstacles such as vertiginous abseils, natural slides and jumps into crystal-clear waters.
