Course of events
- An hour on foot to reach the starting point
- 8 – 9 hours to descend the canyon
- 15 minutes on foot to make your way back
Objectives
- Learn how to become completely autonomous
- Learn how to reassure yourself so you can avoid dangerous situations
Activity requirements
All participants must be in good physical condition and participants know how to swim.

Enter the Gouffre d'Enfer for an extreme and technical canyoning experience near Bagnère-de-Luchon!
The Gouffre d'Enfer canyon is reserved for sportsmen who have already practised canyoning, particularly in summer, and who have mastered abseiling perfectly. The descents are difficult and physically demanding because of the many technical difficulties. Accompanied by experienced instructors, the Gouffre d'Enfer offers a series of technical abseils, numerous jumps and a natural slide.
It is also visually stunning with a huge drop off above you, splendid water and rock that changes colour throughout the descent. Without doubt THE most spectacular descent in the region!
