About the activity

Go down the rivers of the Roya Gorges in canoraft or kayak raft for a day or half-day of laughter and discovery!

Mat & Eau offers you to discover the sensations of canorafting in an unavoidable place, the PACA region, the ideal playground to practice white water sports. Your guides, Mat & Lolo, will take you to the Gorges de la Roya which offer a unique setting close to the Vallée des Merveilles, easily accessible from Menton, Monaco and Nice on the French Riviera.

For this fun and aquatic activity, you will have the choice between 2 inflatable boats depending on the type of descent and the sensations you are looking for:

- the canoraft or "hot dog": an inflatable boat designed for two people. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, it allows you to discover the sensations of white water in complete safety. Ideal for discovering a valley and its landscapes, you can go from the simplest course for the whole family to the most technical one for thrill seekers!

- the kayak raft or "air boat": a single-seater boat that provides sensations similar to those of a kayak. Thanks to its size and maneuverability, as well as to the instructions of your guides, you will be able, if you wish, to discover freestyle or surfing tricks that will no longer hold any secrets for you!

You will meet your white water instructors at the Mat & Eau store in Breil-sur-Roya, drive with them to the starting point of the canoraft descent and embark for several hours of sensations on the Roya rapids!

Very fun activity! Some in our group have never been in a canoe before and they still had a great trip! The pictures don't do the trip justice, it was amazing and definitely not the last time we do it.

Absolutely fantastic introduction to canoe rafting! Qualified instructors that take very good care of your safety. One remark: our group was rather big and of very diverse experience which made it necessary to stop & wait quite often. Smaller group would have increased the thrill

Nous avons fait du Rafting plutot que du Canoe-raft car le niveau d'eau est très élevé en cette saison. Au final, aucun regret car beaucoup de rapides et de sensations; tout ça en sécurité avec un guide super cool! En prime, sauts de plusieurs mètres très appréciables
