Introduction to snowmobile driving in Chamrousse, near Grenoble

The GTR Mountain winter sports base in Chamrousse offers you to introduce your children to snowmobiling in the Alps, not far from Grenoble.

Give your children and teenagers a fun and thrilling experience by offering them an introduction to snowmobiling from Chamrousse!

They will be accompanied on a safe and specially designed course with adapted snowmobiles under the supervision of trained instructors. Before starting, a briefing will allow them to understand how the machine works and how to drive it.

The initiation for children aged 6 to 11 years lasts two 10-minute sessions. They will do the first practical exercises until they can do a series of complete laps on their own.

As for the teenagers (12 to 17 years old), once they have acquired sufficient autonomy, they will take a 40-minute discovery ride on the Clairières plateau next to Chamrousse. Passage between snow-covered fir trees, climbs, descents... A fun ride before returning to the snowmobile chalet to enjoy a well-deserved hot chocolate!
