The spot
With its crescent shape, the beach of Pors Carn offers great waves for surfers of all levels. The exposed areas to the north of Audierne Bay are suitable for experienced surfers, while the more protected areas to the south are more suitable for beginners! The beach extends over 10 km, ideal for surfers. The spot has a 20-metre learning zone.
Pors Carn is located not far from La Torche , one of the best surfing spots in Brittany, where international competitions take place. The conditions are ideal, there is a thermal wind that rises around 1pm and the waves are ideal for surfing.
The authentic setting of dunes and fine sand is typical of Breton beaches. All of this is preserved by the Conservatoire du Littoral (coastal conservatory). The exceptional site is also classified and protected by the Natura 2000 law.

The school
The school provides a wide choice of equipment and spacious premises at the foot of the dune. In the premises, you will find showers, changing rooms and a relaxation area where you can exchange your impressions after the sessions. The instructors can supervise up to 50 surfers in the same time slot.
If you are feeling hungry...
There is a picnic area for groups wishing to have lunch on site. There is also a food truck "le p'tit camion" based at the school, which offers light meals, drinks and ice cream throughout the day.

The equipment
The equipment is new and renewed every year. Elaia Surf has a fleet of about 100 surfboards. With foam, epoxy and resin boards. They are of all sizes, from initiation to competition.
