Descent accessible to beginners.
⚠️ Please note that access to the river involves a roughly 10-minute walk along a trail that can be uneven in places. This walk requires a minimum level of physical fitness and leads to a preserved natural site. During the walk, you will need to carry your raft for part of the way. Lightweight and designed for easy transport, the raft is an integral part of the adventure. We recommend wearing shoes suitable for walking and being able to handle moderate physical exertion.
Course of events
- Meeting with the team at the Bissaou dam car park in Saint Guilhem le Désert to organise the shuttle service
- Shuttle bus to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert
- Briefing on the activity, equipment and safety rules
- Distribution of equipment and boarding of canorafts
- Descend the rapids of the Hérault gorges for around 2 hours. On the programme: sailing, jumping, white-water swimming and a water zip-line.
- Helping the boats back up to the trailer
- Transport back to the premises and de-equipping
Activity requirements
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity as well as being in good physical condition.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.

This activity depends on the weather: if the activity cannot take place because of the weather, another date or a refund will be offered.
The "Discovery" and "Experience" options are offered not only according to your wishes, but also according to the level of the participants and the weather/water conditions.
