Course of events
Please allow around 8.5 hours for the whole experience.
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Avatoru or from the Ohotu quay by taxi boat if you are staying in Tiputa
- Boarding of the boat and departure from the marina at 9 a.m.
- Sailing to Reef Island (approx. 1 hour)
- Discovery of the motu and snack (approx. 45 minutes)
- At 10.45 a.m., discovery of the "feo" and natural pools on Reef Island
- Aperitif at 12.30 p.m., followed by lunch featuring coconut bread, rice salad, raw fish, grilled fish and barbecued chicken (vegetarian option available)
- Free time on the motu from 1.30 p.m. to 2.15 p.m.
- Sailing to Tiputa pass (approx. 1 hour)
- Dolphin watching (approx. 30 minutes)
- At 3.45 p.m., snorkelling stop at the Aquarium (approx. 30 minutes)
- Sailing back to Avatoru marina (approx. 15 minutes) and disembarkation scheduled for around 4.30 p.m.
- Transfer back to your accommodation and end of the activity
Activity requirements
You don't need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

- for accommodations in Tiputa, please contact Rangiroa Excursion,
- the following remote accommodations are not covered: Rangiroa Bliss, Tihimani Lodge, and Aotera Guest House.
This activity is not recommended for people with reduced mobility or who have difficulty boarding a boat, or for pregnant people.
Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed.
