Try Scuba Diving from Piso Aliki Beach in Paros

Paros is a Greek island located in the Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea. The island is characterised by typical white-washed villages, sandy beaches, and clear waters. This scuba diving trip in Paros takes place at Piso Aliki Beach, a serene and picturesque beach located near the fishing village of Aliki, on the island's southern coast.

To start your adventure, you'll meet the certified instructors at the dive centre beside the Port of Aliki. Upon arrival, you'll go through a medical check and receive an overview of the activity. The day will start with a theoretical lesson, where you'll learn the basics of scuba diving and go through signs and skills exercises. You'll also receive the scuba diving equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, and weights) and learn about its use. After the hands-on introduction to the gear and basic diving signals, you'll get ready for your first scuba dive in Paros!

You have the option of choosing a shore dive or boat dive when booking. For the shore dive, you'll enter the water directly from Piso Aliki Beach. With guidance from the instructor, you'll dive at a maximum depth of 5 metres (16 feet) and experience the surreal sensation of breathing underwater! You'll explore a unique, rocky reef, which was the old coastline in this area. This underwater landscape is home to a Posidonia seagrass meadow, fascinating rock formations and different species of sponges. You may spot typical Aegean marine life, such as schools of breams and wrasses, octopuses, sea urchins, starfish, groupers, scorpionfish, moray eels, nudibranchs, and lionfishes.

The boat dive is better suited to those who have had a first experience underwater. On this premium experience, you'll travel further out to sea in a boat. In the middle of the clear Aegean Sea, you'll dive directly from the boat, reaching a maximum depth of 12 metres (39 feet). Throughout the dives, one instructor will be dedicated to 2-3 participants, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. During the boat scuba dive in Paros, you'll also discover rich flora and fauna, secluded sea caves, and the brimming seabed. At the end of the diving excursion, you'll return to the centre in Aliki.
