Humpback whales are the most common and beautiful species of whale to be found in Skjálfandi Bay, Iceland's most famous whale watching area. Aboard a picturesque oak-wood boat, you will set off from Húsavík into the heart of the bay, which is home to other cetaceans such as harbour porpoises, white-beaked dolphins and minke whales: there is a good chance you will come across at least one of them on your whale-watching trip from Húsavík!

Wearing a special overall to keep you warm during the trip, you will spend around 3 hours at sea, accompanied by a captain guide who will be delighted to share his knowledge of Skjálfandi Bay and the animals that live there, as well as the Tjörnes peninsula and its mountains, which you can admire throughout the trip.
