The spot
Sakalava Bay covers an area of about 2.2 km² and is protected by a 2 km long coral reef. Sakalava is a spot to practice windsurfing safely and on a gentle slope. Wind level: starboard side and side-on oriented so that it will always bring you back to the beach.

Another particularity of Sakalava bay is the Varatraza. Boosted by the cape effect and the mountainous relief, the Varatraza blows regularly from April to November with maximums from June to October. The average air temperature varies between 24 and 32° C while the average water temperature varies between 25 and 27° C.
