Discover scuba diving in Belle Mare, Mauritius

• You meet your PADI instructor at The Residence Hotel in Belle Mare at the scheduled time.
• After a warm welcome, you receive a detailed safety briefing and learn the basics of underwater breathing and equipment handling.
• You start with a first dive in the calm lagoon, descending to a maximum depth of 3 metres. This 20-minute session helps you get used to the sensations of scuba diving in a safe and peaceful setting.
• After a short surface break, you board the dive boat for a 10-minute transfer to a nearby reef site.
• You then enjoy a second dive on the reef, going down to 6–12 metres. This guided 40–50 minute dive gives you the chance to explore vibrant coral formations and observe tropical marine life such as butterfly fish, jackfish, turtles and moray eels.
• You return to the base with your instructor, where the session ends with a quick debrief and equipment rinse.

No certification or prior diving experience is required.

You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity. Please inform your instructor of any medical conditions when booking.

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.

A flight must not be scheduled within 24 hours after the dive.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant or disabled people.
